What is a beta programme and why do you have one?
Before commercial software products are fully released, they usually go through a "beta" phase in which the software is tested for
inconsistancies and to ensure their robustness. This is often performed by providing a beta version of the software to a select
few individuals or preferred customers.
At Aptia, our beta programme also serves an important secondary purpose in that it helps to further explore the requirements and
expectations of our customers to ensure that our products fully satisfy what they expect of it.
What would I have to do?
We would simply like you to spend an hour or two using our software (or a few minutes if that is all that you can afford!) and
then give us some feedback on your experience. We may also contact you to discuss what
you liked, didn't like, and what features we should add or change to improve your particular experience with the software or to
make it more applicable for use within your company.
Why should I join the programme?
We want to produce software that will be highly useful to you, solve your particular problems and reduce your overheads. If you get
involved in our beta programme, you will be able to ensure that our products fulfil what is required in your company. We are most
likely to add features that have been requested from our beta participants before any other requests and our beta participants are also
more likely to have access to new features before they are made available for general release.
